Two years ago today, we pledged our love, unaware of the hardships just around the corner: being separated for over 14 months while waiting for a promised 🇺🇸 visa that never came, Andrew loosing his long-term job 💼 in a position he enjoyed, and Micah suffering from severe dermatitis due to the poor air quality 😷 in Dubai.⁣
⁣
While none of these issues have been resolved yet, we are thankful to have each other’s love and commitment. God continues to be faithful, even as we celebrated our first married Christmas on opposite sides of the world 🌎, even as the last of our savings disappear into car payments for a vehicle 🚗 in a country we can’t visit, and yes, even on nights like last night when Micah struggles to sleep due to painful swelling and itching 🤕.⁣

We trust in God’s provision and His perfect timing, grateful for the opportunity we’ve had to grow stronger through these hardships together. I love you now and forever. ♥️
